The South Carolina premiere screening of award-winning, documentary film, ON BEAUTY! Meet Rick Guidotti and Daja Dial, Miss South Carolina 2015, at this special event!
From Emmy-nominated filmmaker Joanna Rudnick, executive producer Gordon Quinn, and Kartemquin Films, ON BEAUTY follows award-winning, former fashion photographer Rick Guidotti as he re-focuses his lens and uses it to change society's perceptions and redefine beauty with the help of two extraordinary women, Sarah and Jayne. Founder of Positive Exposure, Rick’s photos challenge both mainstream media’s narrow scope of beauty and the dehumanizing black-bar convention of medical textbooks. ON BEAUTY is part of this movement.
ON BEAUTY has been awarded multiple awards including the Audience Choice Award from the 2014 Chicago International Film Festival and the Best Documentary Short Award at the 2015 Geneva Film Festival.
