Event description

Description

Join OmniAir members and others from across the globe at the Plugfest by the Bay, October 16-20 in the San Francisco Bay area. If you are a device manufacturer, test equipment provider, test laboratory or deploying agency, this is the event for you.

If you plan to offer a certified and interoperable device to the V2X market, this Plugfest will get you closer. The event is organized by OmniAir which has the certification program for devices using authorized test laboratories and qualified test tools. You will be able to verify your readiness for product certification prior to engaging with OmniAir's formal certification process. Participants will be charged a nominal fee to participate as this is not a USDOT sponsored event.

Ticket Overview

  • Every device maker requesting testing must purchase a group ticket. Group tickets provide a team of four access to private testing sessions with laboratories, tool and equipment vendors as well as collaborative group sessions focused on security. Private test sessions are 1.75 hours in length, with a 15-minute break between each test session.

  • Individual tickets are for those that are not testing a device but would like to observe testing and network.

  • Any device maker wanting to bring more than four individuals must purchase an individual ticket.

  • All tickets include the Monday, October 16 policy workshop and welcome reception at MTC’s Bay Area Metro Center.

What to Expect?

This Plugfest is focused around DSRC-based devices in an atmosphere which encourages collaborative, conformance and interoperability testing with test equipment providers.
