In partnership with the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University, the Policy Summit will include a series of sessions on policy and copyright law implications as the Open Music Initiative progresses toward establishing an interoperable platform.

All OMI members are encouraged to join us, and contribute to the discussion. The Summit is a members-only event, to be followed by a public session, with more details to come. (OMI Members can see Basecamp for more details.)

The Open Music Initiative (OMI) is an initiative of the Berklee Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship (BerkleeICE), in collaboration with the MIT Media Lab, other academic institutions and over 140 companies from across the music industry ecosystem. Its aim is to create a shared, open protocol for music rights owner and creator identification.
