Event Details

For thousands of years, we've been under the impression the Bible was meant to be taken seriously. Finally, OMGWTFBIBLE is changing all that with a brand-new, very funny translation that’s coming to Philly just for us!

David Tuchman will read his brand-new, very loose translation of the Hebrew Bible and discuss why in the world someone might want to be reading such an old book in our very modern world. OMGWTFBible is kind of like Mystery Science Theater 3000 meets Judaism. And it's all archived as a podcast in iTunes,, and

Be a part of the show New Voices calls "often offensive, consistently hilarious, and surprisingly enlightening," Tablet called "comic," Jewcy called "epic," and some crazy people on Facebook called "horrible," "abomination," and "an unforgivable sin!"

OMGWTFBible comes to Philly as a collaboration between The Collaborative, Hillel's Grad Student Network, and Moishe House Philadelphia.
