Presented by OMNoire, the Zone Out • Zen Out Social Wellness Series will serve to provide guests of The Tillary Hotel and New York residents weekly events that promote health, healing & community. Each event will have a particular theme surrounding various aspects of wellness ranging from fitness to food to education.

Join us on Saturday, December 30th for "OM Glow & Flow" with Sammee Leigh, who will lead attendees through a gentle and heart opening 60 minute vinyasa flow designed to release and renew your senses as you guide into the New Year. All levels welcome.

Letter from Sammee -

I’m Sammee Leigh, a certified Stråla Yoga Guide and Holistic Health Coach. Fitness has changed my life in ways I never thought possible. I never anticipated that yoga and the wellness world would be part of my daily, professional life. Growing up, I’ve always been active but that was shelved as I began my career in the fast-paced industry of broadcast news. After years of constantly being “on”, I needed something to help me deal with the stress. I began practicing yoga at home with YouTube videos, DVDs and occasionally hopping around to various yoga studios. Soon I started noticing sizable changes in myself on and off the mat. Yoga empowered me to take better care of myself by inviting balance back into my life while also making it easier to distance myself from things that didn't positively serve me.

I was inspired to become a holistic health coach after my mother was diagnosed with Type-2 Diabetes, I wanted to help her eat better and make other lifestyle changes to maximize her quality of life on her terms. I realized that she’s not alone in needing this guidance. Many people want to live a well-balanced life but have trouble figuring out the best method for themselves. My approach is about inclusion not exclusion, creating a positive, open-minded approach to living a healthy sustainable life. I believe that true wellness is all about moving more in a way that feels naturally good and fun; nourishing the body with nutritious and delicious foods, all while being kind to yourself so you can thoroughly enjoy this life.

Health and wellness are not one size fits all. It’s not about conformity or stepping out of your comfort zone. It's about expanding your comfort zone from the inside out, starting right where you are, working with what you have, to achieve what you want. Utilizing the four pillars of S.E.L.F. to cultivate a healthy sustainable way of living that works for you. The letters stand for Sweat, Eat, Live and Feel. How we move, eat, live and think all have a major impact on the quality of our lives.

I'm on a mission to empower and inspire individuals to eat, move, think and live better on their terms!
