Old-time Online is back once again! If you've been bored out of your pumpkin-head playing by yourself, this is the class for you.

About this event
This online class meets for 4 weeks and will introduce a new Old Time tune every week. Emily will send you a recording of the tune a few days before class to prime your ears. During class she'll play the tune in its entirety then walk you through, phrase by phrase. Style and chord tips will be integrated into the lesson as well. You will be taught the melody by ear, so some knowledge of your instrument is required. Questions? Email etroll@wesleyan.edu.
Class is sliding scale $50-100. To choose a different price option than posted choose "Donate" (minimum $50 to attend class unless you discuss with me first). Space reserved for scholarship. Please email me if you choose this option.
Emily Troll plays fiddle and the accordion and hails from South Portland, ME. An avid lover of French-Canadian and Old-time traditions, she's spent many years at Pinewoods and Maine Fiddle camp honing her skills as informally as possible. You'll often see Emily playing with her all-girl band, Anadama who just released their debut album “Way Back When.” When she's not playing, she's probably dancing. When she's not dancing, she's probably digging bittersweet out of her garden.
