About the Baltimore Fire Museum
Built in 1853-54 and said to be modeled after Giotto’s campanile in Florence, Italy, Old Number 6 Engine House served as a fire station until 1976. The distinct building with its 117 foot Italian Gothic tower and its triangular shape is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is now a fire museum.
