Old Fashioned Holiday on Union Avenue
featuring a Magical Movie and Merry Music at the "Union Avenue Inn"
Saturday, December 16

Bring back the nostalgia of the holidays on the corner of Union and Pennington Avenues in historic Havre de Grace. Ride down memory lane with the movie "White Christmas" followed by a visit to the “Union Avenue Inn” across the street at the Havre de Grace Library. And best of all-Snow! (movie ticket holders only)

7 pm- A screening of White Christmas at the Cultural Center at the Opera House
9 pm- Adults (21 and over) are invited to the Havre de Grace Library where you will enjoy live music by the Dear Creek Trio, photos with Bing Crosby, savory snacks and a signature dring sponsored by Coakley's Pub (movie ticket holders only)

Singers Bob Wallace (Bing Crosby) and Phil Davis (Danny Kaye) join sister act Betty (Rosemary Clooney) and Judy Haynes (Vera-Ellen) to perform a Christmas show in rural Vermont. There, they run into Gen. Waverly (Dean Jagger), the boys' commander in World War II, who, they learn, is having financial difficulties; his quaint country inn is failing. So what's the foursome to do but plan a yuletide miracle: a fun-filled musical extravaganza that's sure to put Waverly and his business in the black! (2 hours)
