Adam Allred Bio:
ooking for a 'small town'
comedian with a 'big town' mouth? If you are - that makes Adam Allred
your choice for entertainment! Adam has been entertaining audiences of
various sizes at a variety of venues since 2003! He's performed at
comedy clubs, bars, restaurants and music halls all over the country.
Adam has a 'club show' or a 'squeaky clean show' which makes him the
ideal performer for any comedy club or corporate event! His unique
style of comedy caters to the intimacy of a small crowd, but still
brings the energy to keep the larger ones entertained. Adam doesn't
just tell his jokes, he paints a picture in the audience's mind that
allows them to live in the stories a long with his many characters!
A former radio personality for a game called, "Stump the Pothead," Adam honed his comedy skills to think quick on his feet while keeping it PG13 for the vast audience. He has been featured on Fox and in publications for the New York Times. Adam is the kind of performer that possesses instant likability. Before a word has been spoke, he’s already reeled them in with his mischievous smile and childlike playfulness. As it says on his business card, he "Personally Guarantees a Happy Ending!"
When & Where
Super Cat Productions
Old City Comedy is an underground stand-up comedy series based in Knoxville, Tennessee's "Old City". The show was started by Comedy by the Beach founder Matt Ward after relocating from Carolina Beach, North Carolina to Eastern Tennessee in the summer of 2009.
Underground comedy simply means comedians are not censored and no topic is off limits. Our only rule is "Keep it Funny!". We strive to provide an alternative to the traditional PG/TV friendly stand-up comedy shows that most comedy clubs provide.
Old City Comedy traditionally happens on the first Thursday of each month at Patrick Sullivan's in downtown Knoxville. The shows happen upstairs on the same stage graced weekly by Einstein Simplified (every Tuesday).
Tickets for Old City Comedy can be purchased at the door for $10 or you can plan ahead and save a little bread by clicking on the link next to the event date to the top right of this page.
