Description

Celebrate the great outdoors this fall season at OkTRAILberfest! Enjoy live music, local beer, German food, and lawn games at our beautiful 10-acre headquarters, the Davis-Douglas Farm. Leading up to the festival, Featured Hikes and the Trail Fun Run will be sure to satisfy even the most ambitious trail enthusiasts, highlighting some of the tens of thousands of protected acres right in our backyard. All proceeds support our Youth Unplugged Initiative, connecting tomorrow's leaders to the natural world.

Your ticket includes a featured trail activity of your choice (see below) and access to a German buffet from Farms to Forks. IndieFerm beer available for purchase for ages 21+. OkTRAILberfest beer mugs and other great merchandise will be available as well!

FEATURED TRAIL ACTIVITIES:
Advance registration required. One activity per person. Select an activity when selecting your ticket type. Parking for all activities at the Wildlands Trust headquarters with shuttle service to trailhead. Sales end for featured trail activities at 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 5 or when sold out. All sales are final.

9 Mile Hike from Myles Standish State Forest
Moderate terrain. Max 15 participants. Ages 18+. Starts at 9:00 am.
Our longest featured hike highlights some of the 19,000 acre Open Space corridor in Plymouth and Wareham. Beginning at the east entrance to the Myles Standish State Forests, we'll travel southeast through the State Forest and Wildlands Trust's Halfway Pond Conservation Area before ending at the festival.

6 Mile Hike from Ellisville Harbor
Difficult terrain. Max 12 participants. Ages 18+. Starts at 9:30 am.
This cross-town trek will satisfy even the most ambitious hikers in the area. Enjoy the view as you hike from Ellisville State Harbor to Wildlands Trust's Shifting Lots Preserve, then head east through very hilly forested terrain before ending at the festival.

5 Mile Hike from Redbrook
Moderate terrain. Max 25 participants. Ages 12+. Starts at 11:30 am.
Begin in the old Makepeace bogs of what is now Redbrook and traverse the varied terrain of South Plymouth. Traverse Mass. Fish & Game Conservation lands and Wildlands Trust's Halfway Pond Conservation Area before ending at the festival.

4 Mile Hike from Old Sandwich Road
Easy to Moderate terrain. Max 20 participants. Ages 12+. Starts at 12:00 pm.
Beginning on Old Sandwich Road near the Pinehills, this hike winds through flat dirt roads, hilly Pine Barren trails, through Wildlands Trust's Emery Preserve, and ends at the festival.

Trail "Fun Run"
Moderate terrain. 50 participants. Ages 12+. Starts at 1:00 pm.
Begin and end at the Wildlands Trust Headquarters on this scenic run along the trails and dirt roads of Halfway Pond. Choose a 3 mile route to Gallows Pond and back, or complete a 6.5 mile loop around Halfway Pond. Both distances will be unofficially timed by volunteers (participants can receive their times at the end if desired). Water will be provided at the 1.5 mile mark, and signs will keep you on the right track. All paces and levels welcome! Bring a water bottle to help reduce plastic cup usage.
