Oklahoma Humanities Presents: An Evening with Carl Bernstein

Fake News! The Media, The Truth, and our Democracy

Join Oklahoma Humanities for an evening of educational entertainment as we host Pulitzer prize-winning Watergate investigative journalist Carl Bernstein. Engage in a candid conversation with Mr. Bernstein about media literacy, the role of journalism in a functioning democracy, and the lessons learned from his Watergate experiences. Mr. Bernstein will be joined by local NPR station KGOU General Manager Dick Pryor; Ted Streuli, Editor and Associate Publisher of the Journal Record; and Richard Nixon!

Doors open at 6:00 pm, event begins at 6:30 pm

Please note: This free, public event is general admission to the first come, first served 275 registered individuals. Please arrive early to allow time for parking, event admission, and seating.

For a choice of preferred seating, admission to a 1970's + Watergate-themed VIP reception, and an opportunity to mingle with Mr. Bernstein, special VIP event passes may be purchased for a cost of $50.00. The VIP reception is from 5:00 - 6:00 pm. See the ticket purchasing options below for more details.
