The Oklahoma Association of Colleges and Employers would like to invite you to the 2019 OkACE Conference! This year, our annual conference will be hosted by The University of Tulsa in the Allen Chapman Student Union. We will conduct our annual business meeting, engage in issue specific roundtable discussions, participate in breakout sessions, hear from guest experts on economic development in the Tulsa business community, and enjoy lunch. We look forward to seeing you all at the conference this year!

The OkACE programming committee is currently seeking proposals to present a 50 minute breakout session at the annual conference. We are calling upon you to submit in the areas of expertise. All proposals should be submitted no later than April 5th. You will be notified whether or not your proposal is accepted by April 12th. Some topics of interest include but are not limited to the following areas:

  • Employer development
  • Diversity and inclusion
  • Career development
  • Special populations
  • Internships
  • Ethics
  • Legal issues
  • Marketing to students/employers
  • Career events
  • Gen Z
  • Working w/ undocumented students
  • Best practices for on-campus interviews
  • CS online platforms

  • Career Services and retention
  • Employer on campus engagement
  • Recruiting timelines

This year we are accepting nominations for executive and committee positions in advance of the conference. We hope that the advance lead time will allow for discussion and consideration on the part of nominees and those making nominations. Please have your nominations for officer and committee positions submitted by Thursday, 5/16. The nomination form can be found here.


This year we are accepting nominations for OkACE awards in advance of the conference as well. The award nomination form containing descriptions of the awards can be found here. Please have your nominations submitted by Thursday, 5/9, and help us recognize our outstanding colleagues!

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

•Yes. Please just contact us with the name change.


Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will be accepted provided that notification is given in writing to the OkACE President-Elect. Cancellations must be sent via e-mail to chad.anglin@okstate.edu and must be received by the stated cancellation deadlines listed below.

OkACE reserves the right to charge any costs incurred prior to cancellation and the following registration fees:

  • Cancellations received at least 30 days before the scheduled fair will receive a 100% refund.
  • Cancellations received at least 10 days before the scheduled fair will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations received less than 10 days before the event will be charged the full registration fee.
  • No-show, no cancellation will incur a 100% registration fee charge, as well as any other applicable charges based on the original registration request

Should something prevent the OkACE Conference from occurring on the scheduled date (inclement weather, etc), the conference will be rescheduled to a later date and all fees as well as cancellation policies will apply. If OkACE cannot be rescheduled, registrants will receive a full refund. OkACE reserves the right to change or modify these policies as it deems necessary without notice to any other party, which such changes shall be binding upon the registered participant.
