Broward County Public Schools Faculty, Staff and Administrators, please click HERE to register for the Flipping The Script Youth Summit. REGISTRATION FOR THIS GROUP IS STILL FREE, BUT YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRESENT IDENTIFICATION AT THE CONFERENCE.

"Flipping The Script" is a FREE two-day, Teen Prevention & Intervention Summit featuring activities that will encourage teens to - Use Your Mind, Not Your Body. Hosted by 99 Jamz’ Felicia Monet, the event also includes special guest speakers, spoken word artists and original youth art. Many more youth focused surprises will be announced closer to the event date. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served. Be part of the "Flipping the Script" experience and be empowered by the various breakout sessions and conversation stirring themed topics led by youth, young adults and OIC-SFL youth leaders.

Concentrated themes include:

  • Enhance Educator Awareness and Capacity to Support the Family Life and Human Sexuality Policy and Curriculum Implementation

Pre-Registration Required!

Parking Garage Rates Apply! (7 Hours - 9 Hours: $10; 9 Hours - 11 Hours: $12)

Anyone parking at the Conference Center will need to pass through the port authority gates and the vehicle driver, as well as any passengers over 18, will need to show ID. If you will be dropping off a summit attendee (see below) and do not wish to park, you can turn left onto SE 18th Ct. off of Eisenhower and drop off in the front of the Convention Center.

All children under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. The host entities are not responsible for children left unattended.

OIC of South Florida (OIC-SFL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We win at helping people become self-sufficient through workforce development training, family strengthening and job placement. OIC of South Florida has served as a beacon of hope through its ability to serve as a community-based workforce, job development, and training organization that focuses on the unemployed, underemployed, and unskilled. We are committed to helping those with barriers to self-sufficiency due to the past indiscretions in their background via our various Adult and Young Adult Workforce Development initiatives.  OIC-SFL also seeks to proactively address the vicious cycles of poverty via our Youth and Family Services Divisionby partnering with local schools and government agencies. Our collaborative efforts provide youth career awareness and readiness programming annually to over 7,000 middle school and high school students.
