Description

Rural Trauma Team Development course

A FREE EDUCATIONAL EVENT held during The Ohio EMS Conference 2018!

Developed by the Rural Trauma Committee of the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma, RTTDC is based on the concept that in most situations, rural facilities can form a trauma team consisting of at least three core members.
RTTDC emphasizes a team approach to the initial assessment, resuscitation and transfer of the trauma patient in a systemized, concise manner.
The intended audience includes individuals who are involved in the care of the injured patient, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, prehospital personnel, technicians and administrative support.

IMPORTANT!

Registration for this course will close April 30, 2018 to allow time for the participants to complete the required pre-test.

Please register for only one day- this is a one-day course being offered on each day of The Ohio EMS Conference and seating is limited.

RTTDC participants will be required to attend all RTTDC sessions- this may mean you will be unable to attend other sessions of The Ohio EMS Conference. If you wish to attend the EMS Conference on the opposite day of RTTDC you register for, please visit OhioEMSConference.com to register.

This course requires a pre-test which will be emailed to you 3-4 weeks before the course from the American College of Surgeons. You must complete this pre-test to sit for the course.

Conference details, agendas, hotel partners, exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities, directions and parking, and other information is available at: OhioEMSConference.com.
