OhioHealth is proud to introduce a “Survivorship lecture series” – an educational lecture with survivors on the topics of their interest. We will offer these lectures on a quarterly basis with our third lecture being "SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT".

(Lymphedema, Surgery, Radiation) - Advancements in technology has transformed cancer from a fatal diagnosis to a manageable chronic condition, but not one without symptoms and side effects. Among the etiology of cancer and its treatment, you are faced with several temporary and ongoing symptoms and side effects, including, pain, fatigue, depression, blood clots, skin conditions, weight gain/loss, etc. Our team can teach you what symptoms to expect and how to manage them using resources available such as rehab, integrative medicine and palliative care.
