Description

Morning Session: State Benefits 101

This session will explore cash and food assistance benefits in the State of Ohio: who is eligible, how do they apply, how are benefits calculated, and how does work impact these benefits? In addition, this session will look at the most common Ohio Medicaid categories for individuals with disabilities: Medicaid for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled; 1619(b) Medicaid; and Medicaid Buy-In for Workers with Disabilities. The focus will be on providing forms, calculators, and information about how to find program rules.

This session is intended for benefits planners with 0-2 years of experience.
