AGENDA
Printed programs and abstracts will not be provided, but can be viewed and downloaded at www.OhioAmphibians.org
New to this year's conference is the 'Round-the-Room Updates prior to lunch. In response to feedback from previous conferences, this time slot will provide YOU with an opportunity to share any updates or announcements on herp happenings at your organization or in your area. Examples include: recent research findings or planned research/survey projects; conservation actions or opportunites; observations of disease/die-offs; emerging conservation concerns; recent publications of interest; opportunities for volunteer involvement; graduate student opportunities; or, other herp related news in Ohio. These updates will be informal and short (1-2 min). If necessary, 1 or 2 slides can accompany the update.
We are also excited to announce at this conference the formation of an Ohio chapter of Partners in Amphibian & Reptile Conservation (PARC). If you are unfamiliar with PARC, you can visit their homepage, as well as the site for the Midwest Regional Working Group. Ohio has a storied history when it comes to herpetology, but has been without a statewide herpetological organization since the Ohio Herpetological Society grew to become the Society for the Study of Amphibians & Reptiles. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to be involved in the kick-off of Ohio PARC.
