OGS | PDX Chapter meeting - Learn more about the chapter

About this event

We are excited to announce the launch of our first OGS regional chapter!

Oregon Green Schools | Portland Metro Chapter, OGS | PDX

This partnership between the, former, Portland Green Schools Committee (PGSC) and OGS will allow us to better serve students, schools and communities in Washington, Multnomah and Clackamas counties with targeted support designed to deepen connections and strengthen our reach without duplicating efforts.

OGS | PDX will continue to be led by a local Chair, Deputy Chair and Communications team and will host public monthly meetings, work on targeted initiatives and events for the Portland-Metro area and support regional coordinators and schools. Some current initiatives include sustainable school bonds policy and education, green schoolyards projects, design community education, student mentorship, OGS certification, and more!

If you work in the Portland-Metro region and have an interest in sustainability and/or education you are invited to join the OGS | PDX Chapter! At the August chapter meeting, you can learn more about the vision of the chapter. The meeting will be hosted on zoom on Friday, August 13th from noon-1pm. Sign up here or contact Reilly Loveland to join the first OGS Chapter!
