As the third-busiest railroad terminal in the United States, Chicago’s Union Station serves over 300 trains per weekday, which together carry roughly 120,000 arriving and departing passengers. Participants will get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour and presentation on the Union Station Master Plan--a collaborative effort between the Chicago Department of Transportation, Amtrak, and Metra, as well as physical infrastructure in the station.

This tour will be led by Derrick James, Amtrak’s Director of Government Affairs. Attendees should meet at the “Tour Departure” sign at the registration desk in the Pacific Foyer at 9:30 am. Pre-registration is required.
