Description

The Offshore Trust Administration Pathway offers companies a unique opportunity to source relevant, practical training. Each workshop builds on the session before and is scheduled to allow time between session for good practice to be embedded into the workplace.

This learning pathway is designed to support the onboarding and development of Trust Administrators who wish to develop their knowledge and skills working within the legal framework of Guernsey, Jersey or the Isle of Man.

Phase 1 - Getting Started as a Trust Administrator

Three workshops which provide a solid foundation for those new to the Offshore Trust industry. The series provides a grounding in AML and Data Protection, which employees must have during their induction period, and introduces new trust administrators to the workings of an offshore company and offshore trust.


Course Dates: 23 September, 21 October, 25 November (9:30am - 12:30am).


Tutor: Angus Kemp and Paula Williams

Angus is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has been involved in tutoring students in the Channel Islands for over twenty-five years. In 1995, he established Offshore Training Consortium in Guernsey which was subsequently acquired by BPP plc, the UK's largest provider of professional education training. Angus's extensive academic credentials include a Masters degree in Business Administration, a Masters degree in Economics and Politics, a Masters degree in Education, a Postgraduate Certificate in Accountancy together with a Teaching Certificate.

As Managing Director, IC (Training), Paula has become a trusted specialist in providing learning and development solutions for Executive and Director Development in Guernsey. Paula is able to craft training solutions to meet today's learning needs of Boards, Directors and Executives. Her expertise in learning and development is underpinned with a Diploma in Tertiary Teaching as well as successfully delivering organisational change programmes. Paula has a Henley MBA in Strategic Management and is an experienced Management Consultant. She is also a Non-Executive Director and President of the Channel Islands Cooperative Society.
