ALERT: The Soldiers Delight Visitor Center will close for several months beginning October 27 as a new HVAC system is installed. This includes the restrooms. Please check back this spring for updates.
Soldiers Delight Natural Environment Area (NEA) is comprised of 1,900 acres of serpentine barren. The area has over 39 rare, threatened, or endangered plant species as well as rare insects, rocks and minerals. There are seven miles of marked hiking trails. Equestrians and cyclists are prohibited due to the sensitive nature of the area.
*This hike will be limited to no more than 10 individuals to adhere to social gathering protocols* There will be an Eventbrite link for FREE registration for the event. Must be registered to attend the event!
