The Office of Faith-Based Initiatives announces the release of the 2014 Direct Service (DS) grants. The DS grant program is geared towards building the capacity of New Jersey faith and community-based organizations and enhancing their ability to implement effective community programming. The DS grant program is a competitive program and will provide funds to faith-based and community-based organizations that afford social services to low and moderate income NJ residents. Grant awards are dependent upon available funding.
This year the application submission process will be conducted on the Department of State’s System for Filing Grants Electronically (SAGE). For information on registering onto SAGE please go to website link below. In order to be eligible to submit a grant application, prospective applicants must attend a mandatory technical assistance session.
