Office Hours connect Mission Capital nonprofit members with Mission Capital experts and Social Venture Partners.

About this Event

These sessions are designed to help you discuss and analyze an issue or challenge you’re encountering in your work. During this one hour session you’ll get outside, expert perspective from an Social Venture Partner or Mission Capital team member and leave with actionable next steps.

Sign up here if you are:

  • A nonprofit member with a specific challenge you need insight and advice on to advance your mission
  • An SVP who wants to advise or mentor nonprofits with specific challenges

Details:

  • 1 Hour Sessions - To be assigned one week prior
  • Available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • During registration you’ll be asked several questions about your needs which we’ll use to match you with a Mission Capital team member or SVP who fits your needs

How to prepare for members:

Before

  • Practice your "elevator pitch" to introduce yourself and your organization
  • Consider what information you want to share
  • Narrow your discussion points to maximize your time

During

  • Share your elevator pitch to introduce yourself
  • Pinpoint your biggest challenge
  • Be clear with your questions and specific with your asks
  • Brainstorm next steps

After

  • Follow-up to say thank you to your mentor!
  • Keep Mission Capital updated on your progress and implementation of the advice you received. We'd love to hear from you!

Dana Such, Squeezed Consulting

Squeezed Consulting specializes in strategic audience development—acquiring, engaging, retaining and monetizing quality consumer and donor bases. Through a data-driven approach, Squeezed Consulting helps clients across the for-profit and nonprofit sectors carefully craft user journeys and positive brand experiences that drive audience growth and maximize sustainable revenue.

Squeezed Consulting Founder and Principal Audience Development Consultant, Dana Such, has over a decade of focused experience in marketing and audience development across media, e-commerce and nonprofit sectors. Her career began at Texas Monthly and includes roles as Vice President of membership and marketing, reporting to CEOs and managing multi-million dollar budgets. Dana brings both local and national nonprofit board service experience to the table, as well as her passion for mission-based work. She is a proud Leadership Austin alumna and currently serves as an advisor to the Kendra Scott Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute, a Young Women’s Alliance Mentor and a board member at her daughter’s school.
