About this Event
These sessions are designed to help you discuss and analyze an issue or challenge you’re encountering in your work. During this one hour session you’ll get outside, expert perspective from an Social Venture Partner or Mission Capital team member and leave with actionable next steps.
Sign up here if you are:
- A nonprofit member with a specific challenge you need insight and advice on to advance your mission
- An SVP who wants to advise or mentor nonprofits with specific challenges
Details:
- 1 Hour Sessions - To be assigned one week prior
- Available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- During registration you’ll be asked several questions about your needs which we’ll use to match you with a Mission Capital team member or SVP who fits your needs
How to prepare for members:
Before
- Practice your "elevator pitch" to introduce yourself and your organization
- Consider what information you want to share
- Narrow your discussion points to maximize your time
During
- Share your elevator pitch to introduce yourself
- Pinpoint your biggest challenge
- Be clear with your questions and specific with your asks
- Brainstorm next steps
After
- Follow-up to say thank you to your mentor!
- Keep Mission Capital updated on your progress and implementation of the advice you received. We'd love to hear from you!
