Off The Diamond Speaker Series Social Media Dos & Don'ts
Event Information
Event description
Description
How are student-athletes choosing to represent themselves on social media? What does their social media portfolio say about them? Are they sending the right message about themselves to the public? What risks do younger athletes face on social media?
When it comes to social media, there are plenty of examples of what not to do. On February 27th we have invited a social media expert to provide valuable information for parents and players.
Rachel Maga, speaker and co-founder of Ten Four Social will provide positive examples of how student-athletes should be using social media. If used effectively, social media can be an asset to an athletic scholarship, their community, their team and the school they represent. She will be welcoming questions from our athletes, parents and coaches.
This talk is not to scare, but rather have the guests see the positives and the power of social media. By the time our kids reach college, too many bad habits have already formed. This is an opportunity to change their future.
Public Admission $5 per ticket. 2 complimentary tickets per GameChanger player.
