Event description

Description

When people hear Mexico Rock Climbing, they typically think El Potrero Chico. But Bernardo Beteta, Colorado Mountain School guide and Mexico native, thinks of another region – El Bajío.

Join Bernardo as he discusses several areas far off the U.S. climber radar, including the world class sport crags of Jilotepec, the spectacular Pena de Bernal (the third-largest rock monolith in the world), and the historic basalt cracks of Aculco Canyon.

Bernardo's presentation starts at 6pm at Neptune Mountaineering. Come early to grab $3 pints, make climbing partners and snag a seat.

This event is free, but please RSVP with a free ticket so we can get an accurate seat count. See you there!
