Join us for the opening reception of Off Menu to view astounding art, enjoy tastings from local restaurants and a create food-y felt pins!

About this Event

Off Menu features an international roster of artists who work in a range of media from painting and sculpture to textiles, ceramic and photography to depict the objects of our culinary desire. The exhibition is anchored by the traveling show Les Diners de Gala, comprised of twelve fine art prints by the renowned 20th Century Spanish surrealist Salvador Dalí.

Join us for the opening reception of Off Menu on Sunday, October 6 from 3 - 5 pm to view work from contemporary and historic artists including:

Salvador Dalí, Wayne Thiebaud, Kenny Scharf, Ed Bing Lee, Cara Brown, Christopher Chiappa, Barbara Ciurej and Lindsay Lochman, Sharon Core, Jennifer Coates, Guy Diehl, Emily Eveleth, Jenne Giles, Derrick Guild, Valerie Hegarty, Eric Hibit, Richard Hickam, Sam Kaplan, George Kassan Knapp, Jae Yong Kim, Tamara Kostianovsky, Jenna Kuiper, Roni Landa, Joanne Leonard, Judith Linhares, Raoul Middleman, Victoria Mimiaga, Minimiam, James Ostrer, Spenser Jordan Palmer, Martha Rich, Martin Roller, Ruth Santee, Beverly Shipko, Lucy Stark, Denise Stewart-Sanabria, MyersBerg Studio, Jeanne Vadeboncoeur, Camila Valdez, Dennis Wojtkiewicz.

There will be delicious pop-up tastings from local Walnut Creek restaurants including: Heritage Eats, Broderick, Bounty Hunter, Burma 2, True Food Kitchen and more. Plus artful hors d'oeuvres will be hosted by Bedford Gallery Guild and all-ages felt food pin craft will be available!
