Organizer Montana Center for Horsemanship

Organizer of Of Horse, Human & Nature w/Dr. Temple Grandin 09/09-09/11, 2021 Dillon, MT

The Montana Center for Horsemanship (MCH), is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, the only education center in the U.S. devoted exclusively to Natural Horsemanship, a philosophy and approach, based on understanding horse behavior and the horse's natural instincts.  Our focus is on working with the horse to build a foundation of mutual trust and respect, enabling the horse to act and respond with willingness and the desire to be a partner.  Natural Horsemanship or the La Cense Method of NH, developed more than two decades ago by a team of equine professionals, academics and researchers, under the leadership of William Kriegel, co-founder of MCH, bridges the gap between natural and conventional learning and training methods.

The Montana Center for Horsemanship in partnership with the University of Montana Western, offers the only Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Horsemanship in the nation. This is a 4-year, accredited university degree that combines traditional academic course work with hands-on, daily experiential learning with horses at the Montana Center for Horsemanship. The Montana Center for Horsemanship is a state of the art equine education center with indoor and outdoor arenas, roundpens, and now under development video-equipped classrooms, conference areas and a veterinary/research laboratory area as well as kitchen and restrooms.  When the current expansion is complete, MCH will be one of the leading equine education and event centers in the nation.
