Description

Of Adobo, Apple Pie, and Schnitzel with Noodles...Not a cookbook but an anthology of essays on the Filipino-American experience and some...by Myles A. Garcia

Join Eastwind for Myle's A. Garcia's latest book, a collection of essays about the Filipino-American experience, published previously on www.PositivelyFilipino.com, and some other, personal favorite subjects of the author.

"Who knew that there was once a Harvard-educated Filipino, Jose Formoso Reyes, who settled in Nantucket island in Massachusetts and who wove such gorgeous baskets that became so popular that, long after his death, existing ones now sell for thousands of dollars?

And what about the gasp-triggering story of a lonely multimillionaire lady who bequeathed millions of dollars of property and cash to her loyal Filipina caregiver of 21 years - did you know the stoy before Myles wrote, "Good Help is Hard to Find: The Improbable Story of Huguette and Hadassah"?"

-Foreward by Gemma Nemenzo, Editor, Positively Filipino

Myles A. Garcia is a Correspondent and regular contributor to www.positivelyfilipino.com. His newest book, Of Adobe, Apple Pie, and Schnitzel With Noodles features among the best and brightest of the articles Myles has written thus far for the publication.

Myles is also a member of the International Society of Olympic Historians (ISOH) for whose Journal he has had three articles published.
