Description

Please join OEHHA and the Children’s Environmental Health Program for our next children’s environmental health symposium exploring "Environmental Justice and Children”.

This symposium will examine the potential factors underlying children's unique vulnerabilities to the cumulative impacts of socioeconomic and community stressors and pollution and set the stage for dissemination of public health messaging and action to:

- Inform state agency scientists working in environmental and public health of the latest scientific findings on children’s health and the environment

- Facilitate specific actions by the State of California to improve and protect the health of the state's children

- Inform regulatory scientists and engineers, legislative staff, and the public about future long-term impacts on children related to the environment

- Examine new findings on childhood exposures and vulnerability to the cumulative impacts of pollution and the social environment

For those attending by webcast please register for an online ticket, we will be using the California EPA webcasting system. You can access the webcast by going to: https://video.calepa.ca.gov
