Event description
Recorder virtuoso Tabea Debus and Lutenist Paul Morton explore how tunes and dances wormed their way into many aspects of music making.

About this event

German recorder virtuoso and winner of the Concert Artists Guild International Competition, Tabea Debus, together with American lutenist, Paul Morton, will perform a program from her latest CD “Ode to An Earworm.” This program explores how tunes and dances wormed their way into many aspects of music-making in seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Europe – and, in traversing the centuries, contemporary compositions testify to the earworm’s secured place in modern life.
