Challenge the limits of your imagination at our third edition of the Oculus VR Series: Art Immersive!

Join us on Thursday, September 13th from 6:00PM-9:00PM at the Facebook HQ, Building 10 lobby, for a networking event with local artists pioneering in the VR space.

Come see what artists are doing in 3D illustration, sculpture, animation and beyond!

Be inspired by creative minds transforming the art landscape, learn in-depth tool knowledge & workflows, get some hands-on time with your favorite VR art programs, experience a V-aRt gallery, and join a V-aRt Relay Battle for your chance to win an Oculus Go! Food & drinks provided!

This event is FREE and open to local art communities & Facebook employees.

FIRST 30 GUESTS TO RSVP will receive exclusive Oculus swag at the door!!

Please bring a PHOTO I.D. for CHECK IN at Building 10 lobby.

Goro Fujita

Goro Fujita is an Art Director, illustrator and visual development artist based in the Bay Area California. After graduating "The German Film School for digital production" near Berlin in 2005 majoring in 3D animation he started working as a freelance character animator and visual development artist for various companies in Germany.
In 2008 he joined DreamWorks Animation as a visual development artist and worked on Merry Madagascar, Megamind, Madagascar 3, Penguins of Madagascar and Boss Baby. He left DreamWorks in 2015 and joined Oculus Story Studio in San Francisco where he art directed the Emmy Award winning VR experience "Henry".In 2017 he joined Facebook Social VR to work on the VR painting tool Quill and to introduce the world to Art in VR.

Giovanni Nakpil

Giovanni is profoundly influenced by the magic of sci-fi and horror films. His multidisciplinary career led him to various art positions across the country, such as digital model supervisor at Industrial Light and Magic (ILM). He has worked on principal creatures for "Star Trek" and "The Avengers," among other notable Hollywood films. Additionally, he designed and built video game assets for Valve Corporation. Now you can find Giovanni at Oculus, where he is helping define virtual reality and explore the medium's possibilities within entertainment and education.

Angela Haddad

Angela Haddad is the Founder & VR Creative Director behind the leading VR/AR art studio One Third Blue. The studio’s portfolio includes clients like Marie Claire, Snapchat, AlJazeera, LiveNation, Walmart Labs, and more. Angela is one of ten global Microsoft Creator Council members for 3D & Mixed Reality products and a twice Oculus Launchpad Fellow. Anand Duncan

Anand is a designer for animation, film and VR. She has brought her bright playful designs to the hit show Teen Titans Go!, her fun fashion illustrations to the pages of LA Magazine, and her wearable VR fashions to the Museum of Other Realities.
