October Lecture Series featuring John Wood, Founder of Room to Read

Please join the Social Enterprise Institute and the Boston Chapter of Room to Read, as we welcome Mr. John Wood, Founder and co-board chair of Room to Read and Forbes Impact30 Social Entrepreneur for his discussion, "Tenacity, Determination & Leadership: Lessons from the Front Lines of Social Change." Mr. Wood will discuss his groundbreaking work as the co-founder and visionary of Room to Read, his impetus to run his non-profit organization like a business, and the staggering results Room to Read has achieved under his leadership.
Room to Read has been featured in films such as Half the Sky and Girl Rising, on CNN, the Huffington Post, Forbes, PBS, BusinessWeek, and Cosmopolitan. The SEI will also be selling limited signed copies of Mr. Wood's latest book, "Creating Room to Read: A Story of Hope in the Battle for Global Literacy".

Time: Refreshments will be served beginning at 4:30PM. Talk will begin promptly at 5:15PM and will end at 6:15PM. Please arrive early to purchase books and raffle tickets!
