Our October business meeting will feature George Scopetta as our guest speaker.

As co-founder and managing parnter of Medicus Property Group, George will be discussing how he transitioned from the corporate grind to entrepreneurship and how it will be important in the future to develop a personal brand to be successful.

Bio:
George Scopetta is currently the founder and Managing Partner of Medicus Property Group which owns 104,000 of commercial medical office space in southern California. He was previously the Senior Vice President of Tax of a multinational financial institution traded on the New York Stock Exchange. With both a legal and accounting background, he has acted as a trusted advisor and consultant advising management and the various business units in the US, South America, Europe and Asia regarding the potential tax implications of various financing transactions and mergers and acquisitions transactions. Mr. Scopetta also has had significant experience in domestic and international tax planning with various Fortune 500 corporations. He has worked as a Manager in the International Tax Planning Group at various Big 4 tax firms (Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers), and was previously the Vice President of Tax Planning for a Fortune 500 financial institution. Mr. Scopetta has his law degree from Villanova Law School, a Masters in Accounting from Villanova Graduate Business School and his Bachelors of Science Degree from Villanova University and is an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar.
