Module 3 of the Cultural Competency and Health Literacy Training Series:

The CLAS Standards

Audience: Leadership Level, Decision and Policy Makers.

Date: Wednesday, October 25, 2017; 9:00am to 3:00pm

Location: Held at Woodlawn Commons in the Saratoga Room: 156 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs NY 12866

Content will focus on developing an understanding of the National CLAS Standards. The CLAS Standards are intended to advance health equity, improve quality and help eliminate health care disparities by establishing a blueprint for health and health care organizations to look at 4 areas of improvement: 1) Principal Standard; 2) Governance, Leadership and Accountability; 3) Communication and Language Assistance; 4) Engagement, Continuous Improvement and Accountability.

These are 1-day trainings with a limit of 25 participants per day. In person attendance is required. There will be no option for teleconference. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
