PREPARING FOR CLIMATE CHANGE: Government Agencies Share Initiatives and Priorities
ARE YOU READY FOR CLIMATE CHANGE? Ready or not, Climate Change is a rapidly growing field representing both unprecedented challenge and potential new opportunities for Hawaii's A/E/C industry.
U.S. Federal agencies have created departments, budgets and priorities revolving around preparedness and response, along with technology and resources to assist planning, design and construction professionals. At the State level, Act 286 integrates climate change adaption priority guidelines into the current statewide planning system. Attendees will receive a resource-filled handout prepared for SMPS Hawaii attendees.

Parking: Enter Pioneer Plaza Parking Garage off Merchant Street (Parking will be $6 for 2 hours with validation). Pay for validation at registration desk on the day of the event - cash/check only for validation. $2.75 each for 1/2 hour thereafter payable to the booth attendant. Parking is also available at Harbor Court Municipal Parking.
