About this event
Join AFP Arkansas as Shana W. Graves shares her expertise on everything to do with ethics awareness.
Shana W. Graves works as in-house Counsel for USAble Life, where she serves as a subject matter expert in regulatory and corporate compliance, leads HIPAA and data privacy and security, and contract and vendor management. She currently serves as the President of the Pulaski County Bar Association. She is also the inaugural Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair for the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers. An Arkansas native, Shana grew up in Osceola, AR. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations from Hendrix College and juris doctorate degree from the UA-Little Rock Bowen School of Law. She is currently participating in TIPS (Tort, Trial, and Insurance Practice Section) Leadership Academy of the American Bar Association.
She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where she currently serves as the co-chair of the Bylaws committee and is a member of the Risk Management committee. As a committed volunteer, she also served ten years with the Junior League of Little Rock taking on roles such as Training Director and All-Arkansas Chair Conference. Her favorite community volunteer role to date has been chairing the 2021 Phenomenal Woman Luncheon for the local nonprofit, Real Images, which works to ensures that young girls and women are empowered and educated to become the healthiest versions of themselves through programs, scholarships, and service.
Shana lives in Little Rock with her son and his dog, Pepper.

Parking and location of Meeting Space: There is plenty of parking in the front parking lot. When you arrive, you will enter through the front doors and take a left into the volunteer center. Once in the volunteer breakroom, you will take another left into the conference room. There will be someone at the front to direct everyone.
Covid: The foodbank building is equipped with temperature monitoring. There are cameras when you enter the building that will take your temperature and if anyone is running a temp of 100 or above, it will notify AF Staff. NOTE: There is an entrance to the conference room before you arrive at the front door, HOWEVER, you MUST go through the front doors to have your temperature checked. There are face masks and hand sanitizer in the front lobby.
