Overview

 

Emerging technologies, innovative techniques and more automation is impacting internal audit functions in how we think about risk and the way our teams need to adapt in order to scale to what Internal Audit will look like in the future.  As Internal Audit teams are adapting to embrace some of what these disruptive technologies have to offer, what are some of the considerations to keep in mind as we uptool, upskill and calibrate audit teams to future-proof and better prepare us to continue delivering value to our stakeholders.

 

 

Speaker Biography

 



Sanjay Khunti

Principal | Risk Advisory Services | Ernst & Young

 

Sanjay has more than fifteen years of professional services experience providing risk management, internal audit and internal control/SOX/MAR, and external audit services for global clients ranging from privately-owned to public multinational companies with global revenue anywhere from $1 to $50 billion range.   Sanjay’s clients include a broad spectrum of industries with complex global business and IT infrastructures.  Sanjay is most recognized for educating C-Suite and Board level executives on how technology aligns to the business and how to optimize internal audit and internal controls programs using technology and automation to gain efficiencies.

 

In his current role with the firm Sanjay spends his time working with pre-IPO/ newly IPO companies helping them design their internal audit and internal controls functions as companies are entering the public market.  He has extensive experience partnering with companies to identify and implement solutions to solve business issues.

 

 

 

Katerina Delgado

Senior Manager | Risk Advisory Services | Ernst & Young

 

Katerina has worked in Risk Advisory Services in Belgium, Russia and France before joining EY in the West Coast. She has over thirteen years of experience in Internal Audit and Internal Controls helping clients with their Internal Audit and Internal Controls functions from set up and maturity assessment to complete outsourcing.

 

Katerina supports clients in technology, life sciences, consumer goods and energy. She focuses on optimizing multi-location reviews and collaboration with external auditors. In her current role she also helps clients design their internal controls to align with compliance requirements and business needs and using technology to drive efficiencies.
