CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS

JOIN US and discover the tools that will improve your critical thinking skills. You will become more confident in your abilties to identify complex problem types, refine your problem statements, gather information, control your biases and stimulate your working teams for better problem solving results. You will study and interpret real problems that will provide you with insight to take the skills you learn and apply those skills to your own projects for immediate application.

The participants will learn critical thinking skills including:

* Different problem types, how to classify and deal with each type.

* The importance of problem statement definition.

* Tools for gathering information through inspection and questioning

* Ways to identify and control biases.

* Ways to stimulate your work teams to be more effective problem solvers.


ABOUT Ray Waite

Ray is the founder of Lighthouse Force consulting company, and has presented workshops and keynote speeches on project management, leadership, the future of the workplace, career development, innovation, critical thinking, change management, and professional development topics. He speaks and writes from a wealth of business leadership experience, offering practical advice and guidance based on his 20+ years as a senior manager in the business commerce and telecom industries.

Ray earned his M.S.degree in computer science from The Ohio State University and his B.S. degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He holds a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certificate from the Project Management Institute and the Competent Toastmaster certificate from Toastmasters International.

Ray’s passion is to guide leaders in understanding the future and the skills necessary for success. He loves explaining the complex in an easy-to-use way and has provided direction to many individuals, businesses, non-profits, educational institutions and government organizations. His advice and ideas are “field tested and proven” within the teams he has led at IBM, Alcatel-Lucent, Lucent Technologies, and AT&T Bell Laboratories.
