Product Management Madness

A Workshop to Prioritize Your Product Management Efforts

Featuring Steve Gaylor, Pragmatic Marketing Instructor

Tuesday, August 1st @ 5:30 - 7:00 PM

From tactical to strategic, from fighting fires to building roadmaps, there is no end to the tasks that product managers must do. But there is an end to the number of resources we have at our disposal and time in our day. Given that, how do we know where to focus to make the biggest impact on our products, our company and ultimately our careers? Find out in this interactive workshop with Steve Gaylor.

Steve will walk the group through all the critical tasks required to build and market successful technology products. But it won’t be just a simple review of these items. To reflect the reality we face every day, Steve has pitted the 37 boxes of the Pragmatic Marketing Framework against each other in a March-Madness-style showdown!

He has seeded the brackets based on survey data from over 1,300 product management and marketing professionals. The higher the seed, the more people who said that this activity was one of their core responsibilities.

But seeding isn’t everything. The winner of each head-to-head matchup will be based on which activity is most critical to delivering successful products, as voted by the participants in this workshop. That’s right, which box moves forward each round will depend completely on how you and the others in the room vote!

It’s sure to be a fun exercise and lively debate. But more important, it will arm you with the tools you need to take this same approach with your own internal product management efforts to identify the highest value area for you to focus on.

After this workshop, you’ll:

  • Have an overview of all the tasks required to build successful products
  • Be able to articulate the importance of each activity
  • Have the tools and knowledge required to perform a gap analysis of your company’s current product efforts to help you effectively prioritize which activities to focus on for maximum impact

$50 Admission Fee - Only 20 spots available!
