OCN NI Assessment Training

This training is designed for individuals from recognised OCN NI Centres who are assessing any OCN NI qualifications and/or endorsed courses.

OCN NI Assessment Training is mandatory for all individuals assessing OCN NI qualifications and/or endorsed courses unless the individual can evidence holding a recognised assessors’ qualification.

The training will cover topics such as:

· Understanding OCN NI’s provision and requirements

· Quality Assurance Processes

· Assessment Principles

· Assessment Practices

· Record keeping

· Where to find support and more.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to assess and support learners undertaking OCN NI qualifications and/or endorsed courses.

Registered participants will receive full course materials including comprehensive presentation slides and accompanying handout.

Participants will also receive an e-certificate upon successful completion of the training and evaluative surveys. They will also be registered with OCN NI as an approved assessor for their Centre.

*** Please note that training is free to attend however we require 24 hours notice of cancellation. Failure to attend training or give appropriate notice of cancellation will result in your centre being invoiced £15 per person.
