OCEAN KINGDOM
by VILLAINS

30% Shakespeare + 70% Other Stuff = 2000% Awesome!!

Shakes's legendarily disjointed play Pericles gets shoved into the 21st century, as our shipwrecked hero finds himself thrown through a mash-up of a dozen different modern plays. Incomprehensible Verse, Tron-ish Neon, and Super Soakers collide to make the most exuberant grief-trip on the Seven Seas! Let our Dexydrine-Addled Cheerleaders and thumping DJ'd Soundtraxx soothe you while you float upon the turbulent waves of contemporary culture.

Perfect for today's ADHD-stricken youth! But with adequate preparation (floaties, cash for the bar), the entire family can enjoy their tour of OCEAN KINGDOM. Held in the most subway-accessible warehouse in all NYC, Magic Futurebox, from March 21--30.

Magic Futurebox

Magic Futurebox is a production team dedicated to making interesting things happen around lots of people.

Our Goals:

Start with the story, then add the tech.
To embrace and develop technological innovations that serve the art (not the other way around)

Participation isn't asking what you think, it's inviting you to play.
To provide multiple opportunities for different types of engagement so you decide how you participate in interactive and immersive art

What we make may not be for everyone, but it should be available to anyone.
To pursue methods of broadening access to art by integrating online media and live performance
