We take over the town of Big Bear!!!!!

It's a fun filled weekend with friends, cars, food and drinks. A European Car Enthusiast event where everything is happening all-in-one location. Just park your car and party all weekend long. Book your party room at our host hotel (Northwoods Resort), bring your significant other, let your employer know you are taking off October 2nd through 4th, because you need to go to this event!

Friday, October 2nd

10am - Base of the Mountain Meetup
Wildwood Park - 300 E. 40th Street, San Bernardino, CA 92404

11am - Begin "Rim of the World" Cruise
* Follow all traffic laws. No racing, do not block traffic, stay on the right lane, and let faster traffic pass on the left lane.

12pm - Hotel Room Check-In
Northwoods Resort - 40650 Village Drive, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315
* Hotel might not be ready, but they will try their best. Normal check-in is at 4pm.

1pm - Group Lunch

4pm - Pre Show GTG & Go Karting (Early Registration Pickup)

Saturday, October 3rd

9am - Vendor Booth Setup

11am - Show & Shine Starts

* The search for our Top 25 favorite cars will be notified between 11am to 4pm.
** Host hotel parking lot will be full. Don't block traffic and follow all traffic laws. See map for parking options.

3pm - Car Limbo Contest (Air Ride & Static)
* Line up at 3pm, competition starts shortly after.
** Free to participate.
*** To speed up flow, do not remove parts or modify your car during the competition.

8pm - Private Oktoberfest Party
Ballroom inside Northwoods Resort - 40650 Village Drive, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315
* Host hotel guests can redeem their free drink tickets at this time.

8:30pm - Party Costume Contest
* Crowd choice, loudest cheer wins.
** Free to participate.

9pm - Twinkie Eating Contest
* First person to eat three (3) twinkies without any liquids wins!
** Free to participate (10 people max).

9:30pm - Beer Boot Drinking Challenge
* First person to drink 1-liter of beer, winner wins half the money pot.
** $20 to particpate goes towards the money pot & beer costs (10 people max)
*** Must bring your own #OccupyBigBear/Oktoberfest 1-liter Plastic Beer Boot.

Sunday, October 4th

10am - Hotel Room Check-Out

11am - Brunch with Friends

12pm - Alpine Slide
Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain - 800 Wildrose Lane, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315
* Authentic bobsled experience, a must try!
** $6 for a single ride.

2pm - Cruise Home with new/old Friends

How to get your party room!!

* Host Hotel is completely booked out, however there are neighboring hotels that are still taking guest, we recommend Robinhood Resort and Fireside Lodge.

Host Hotel Information:

Call Northwoods Resort at (909) 866-3121 and mention "Group Block OccupyBigBear" to RSVP your discounted party room.

You will receive two (2) FREE drink tickets (redemable during the Private Oktoberfest Party at the hotel) per night RSVP'ed. This offer ends on September 11th 2015. Room prices will go up an additional $50 per night after September 11th, so please don't let it pass.

By registering yourself and your guest, guarantees access to all our activites during our event.

We have three registration options to choose from.

Basic Registration ($5) - You'll receive a Souvenir Silicone Wristband, Show & Shine Access & Private Party Access.
Preferred Registration ($25) - You'll receive a Souvenir Silicone Wristband, Show & Shine Access, Private Party Access & Exclusive "Blue" Event T-Shirt. Expires September 17th.
Premier Registration ($40) - You'll receive a Souvenir Silicone Wristband, Show & Shine Access, Private Party Access, Exclusive "Black" Event T-Shirt & Souvenir Beer Boot. Expires September 17th.

Gray shirts are also available online, simple click on any of the (3) three options above, fill out your info and you can "Add" a Gray shirt, as well as "Add" a Beer Boot. By registering online with your additional purchases guarantees you will have a shirt in your size and will be ready the day of the event. But those who wait to register until the day of the event, probably won't get the shirt size they want and also the color. Event t-shirts sold the day-of the event will only be Gray color.

FAQs

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Not necessary, there are smart phone apps for that. Just show your ID and we can look you up on our fancy app. But to speed up the check-in process, you can save the QR code image on your phone, then we can quickly scan it during the event. But if you want to print your ticket, we'll take that too.

Is the registration for my car or for myself?

Registration is not for your car, it's actually for you, the person. By registering for yourself and also any of your guest, guarantees access to all our activities during our event. If you don't have a wristband, then you must not be part of our event.

Is the "Show & Shine" a judged car show?

Technically speaking it is not. We would like to judge cars but the parking situation is so spread out, there is no way to offer a fair judged event. So that is why's it's called a show and shine, you can show it off and shine it clean.

What are my parking options getting to the event?

Parking is first come, first serve. Our lot is very small, you can park nearby, but please follow all laws when parking and to please park accordingly. If you do get lucky and park in the Host Hotel parking lot, please back into your parking space (unless you would like to show off your trunk setup during the show & shine portion our our event).

Can you save me a parking spot? Can I save a parking spot?

Please no saving of parking spots nor double park nor park at an angle. If you do this, we will be force to have your vehicle moved (at your expense). Please be courteous, our parking lot is super limited. Let's give everyone an equal chance to get a spot. There will be an area of the lot that is blocked off, this area is reserved for our vendor booths, any unauthorized parking in those blocked off areas will also be moved.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

No glass bottles, guns, weapons, knifes, etc. We are a fun loving event, everyone knows everyone, so we will know who doesn't follow these rules. If you plan on walking the property, please make sure you are using a plastic cup or beverage can. Again, let's keep it clean and classy.

I notice the shirts comes in 3 different colors, can I swap them with a different color?

No, you can not. Each color signifies your level of registration, providing a level of eliteness. But if you don't care about all that and you just want a shirt, you can choose from a black or blue. However there is a Gray Shirt option, you will need to choose a "Basic" registration and "Add-on" a shirt that is Gray. By registering online, you are guaranteed that exact size. The Gray shirts will be the only color you will be able to purchase the day-of the event, however quanitities are limited, so we recommend purchasing them online through Eventbrite.
