Sustain SoCal requests your participation in an interactive workshop (Zoom Meeting) addressing the OC Recycling Market Development Zone (OC RMDZ) Program. This workshop will outline the Program’s features and gather your input and perspective on how the OC RMDZ can serve as a useful tool for your economic development efforts.
Details: We will explore how economic development teams can enhance their efforts by leveraging the financial incentives, low interest loan programs, technical assistance and other benefits available for companies located within the OC RMDZ.
History: Orange County created a qualifying Zone with an initial group of seven participating cities, as well as unincorporated areas of the County. The OC RMDZ offers, through CalRecycle, an economic development program that utilizes recyclable materials from businesses to help create new businesses, expand existing ones, create jobs, and divert waste from landfills.
Join us on June 10 to help shape a positive economic development impact from this innovative State-funded program for companies currently located or considering setting up operations in cities participating in the OC RMDZ.
