General Information
- The drive-in will take place at Mile Square Regional Park, 16801 Euclid St., Fountain Valley, CA 92708. For best access to the event site, ticketholders should enter on Euclid Street.
- “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” will be shown each night. Tickets are $10 per vehicle and must be purchased online for the appropriate date. No date transfers allowed. More ticketing information can be found below.
- Event site opens at 5:30 p.m. Movie begins at 7 p.m.
- Cars will not be permitted to enter the event site before 5:30 p.m. The event ends at 9 p.m.
- Please plan to stay for the duration of the film. In the event you must leave early, staff will assist to ensure a safe departure.
- Sound is accessible exclusively on FM transmitters. FM radio is needed to hear the movie.
- Restrooms and handwashing stations will be onsite. Restrooms will be sanitized frequently.
- You must not leave your assigned parking space except to visit the restrooms. No congregating with others outside of your group is permitted.
- Masks must be worn whenever you are unable to maintain a physical distance of 6 feet between you and others outside of your group.
- Moviegoers are welcome to bring in food and drinks, alcohol is not permitted. Light concessions will be available for purchase.
- No walkups to event site permitted.
- Rain will cancel the event.
- Free craft provided by OC Public Libraries.
Ticket Information
- Tickets are $10 per vehicle and must be purchased online in advance, while supplies last. Limit one ticket per transaction.
- After purchasing a ticket online, the ticket will be emailed as a PDF attachment from Eventbrite. Check spam folder if needed.
- Tickets must be printed or displayed on a digital device so the barcode can be scanned upon entry. Scans will occur through vehicle windows, please have your ticket ready.
- No date transfers allowed. Ticket dates are non-negotiable, entry will only be granted for the date listed on the ticket.
- Ticket refunds will be granted up to 24 hours before the start of the event. To request a full refund, access your account and click on "tickets" to find your order. Once you find your ticket, choose "request a refund" and fill out the contact form to submit your refund request.
- If you request a refund, please allow up to 14 days for the refund to process.
- By requesting a refund in the appropriate timeframe, your ticket will be released for someone else to enjoy. If you are hoping to attend on a sold out date, check the Eventbrite links regularly for released tickets. Please be cautious if someone attempts to sell you tickets directly as OC Parks is unable to confirm their validity and cannot be held responsible.
Vehicle & Parking Information
- One ticket is good for one vehicle, no RVs/motorhomes allowed. Parking fee is included with ticket purchase.
- Parking attendants and signage will help direct moviegoers to the event site located in the overflow parking lot.
- Upon entry to the event site, vehicles will be directed to assigned parking spaces.
- Parking spaces will be assigned based on vehicle profile (size). This is not a first come, first-served event and you will not be able to choose your parking space. Don’t worry, all spots will have unobstructed views of the screen.
- Parking spaces will be laid out strategically to allow guests to remain physically distanced.
- Vehicles will be allowed to pull in or back into their assigned parking space.
- Chairs and blankets are allowed within your designated parking space.
- If raising a hatch, please be prepared to tie/strap the hatch down halfway to avoid potentially blocking views.
- If using the radio through your car, don’t forget to turn on your engine once in a while to avoid running the battery out. Be careful not to turn on your headlights in the process and impede your neighbor’s view.
