About this Event

OC Human Relations cordially invites you to the release of our annual Hate Crime Report. We will present the recent findings of our 2018 report.

Hear from Jeanne and Gideon Bernstein, parents of Orange County hate crime victim Blaze Bernstein, presenting Blaze it Forward.

Come learn about hate trends throughout the county, and how you can make a difference in your community. Change is needed now more than ever! Attendance is free. Please arrive by 9:00 am.

For over 20 years, OC Human Relations Council, who is contracted by the County of Orange, staffs the Orange County Human Relations Commission and has has been collecting, tracking, reporting, and responding to hate crimes in Orange County. Our experts provide support for victims of hate crimes and training for community members, educators, students, and law enforcement to increase the accuracy of reporting and decrease the number of hate-related crimes and incidents.
