About this Event
Kara Juszczak, LCSWR, co-owner of Tree of Hope Counseling will facilitate this session.
Assessment for both OCD and sensory processing will be explored and resources shared. The connection between obsessive thinking, compulsive behavior, and sensory integration issues is present for many people, and understanding how these symptoms relate can better inform clinical interventions. Assessment, intervention, language, and case examples will be shared.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will increase ability to assess OCD and sensory integration issues.
- Participants will increase understanding of connection between OCD and sensory integration.
- Participants will increase understanding of clinical interventions for OCD and sensory processing.
This class will be conducted virtually. All registered participants will receive login and class information a few days prior to event.
Tree of Hope Counseling, LCSW, PLLC, is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #SW-0322.

This course is 3 (three) contact hours.
