Description
About
Urbanity’s season finale held at the Boston University Tsai Center. See works by director Betsi Graves, celebrated Boston choreographer Marcus Schulkind, and internationally renowned choreographer Doug Varone.
The evening will be accompanied by live music provided by musicians from Grammy nominated chamber orchestra A Far Cry. The evening will also feature a new original composition by Boston based musician and composer Rob Jaret.
Works by this dynamic trio of choreographers highlight the breadth of Urbanity’s style. Ranging from full cast to solo choreography, the show takes on a wide range of tones and themes from internal contemplation to works based on humor and audience participation. Celebrating local legends, young voices, and international choreographers, Spring Revue plays at the heart of Urbanity’s mission: generating access to high quality dance and highlighting immense talent in our own back yard.
With new choreography, live music, and new and origonal compositions, it will be a night worth observing.
