About this event
Join us at the UNB Physics Department for a tour of the night sky. We're celebrating FROSTival by showcasing some of winter's best astronomical attractions. Some of the things we'll be observing through our telescopes are planets, nebulae, star clusters and galaxies. We'll also show you how to spot some of the season's best known constellations as we do some naked-eye observing. The event is free and open to the public.
There are observatory tours but space is limited and registration is required to attend that portion of the event. There will be four consecutive, half hour-long tours and participants are invited to register for one time slot. The observatory is not heated and you should dress warm. The observatory tours are not wheelchair accessible.
