Obscura Society LA: Road Trippin' to San Diego

What does Jonas Salk, the Wizard of Oz, model trains, and mexican wrestling have in common? They are all part of Obscura Society LA's road trip to San Diego!
Join us and your fellow adventures as we hop on the bus and embark on a visit to our neighborly city to the south. Our trip will include four stops at some of the coolest (and Atlas Obscura-ian) places San Diego has to offer.
The itinerary is as follows:
- The Sunny Jim Cave Store
- The San Diego Model Railroad Museum
- The Salk Institue
- And for lunch... Lucha Libre Tacos
Your ticket will get you on the bus, admission to all of these tours, and a few fun surprises!
Notes for this adventure:
-Bus will depart 7:30 am. Please arrive at least 15 mins prior to ensure check-in.
-Our lunch will be at 1:30 pm, so plan accordingly (ie snacks, big breakfast, etc.) due to our early start.
-We will have a few snacks and water on the bus.
-We will be meeting at the Universal City - Red line Park & Ride. This is where the bus will pick us up. There is over 700 free spaces there, so it should be no problem finding a spot. -This will be a 12 hour day - 7:30 am to 7:30 pm. It's going to be a long one, but tons of fun!
-The bus does have a bathroom on it.
